Apple just released their newest versions of iPod—iPod shuffle, iPod nano, iPod classic and iPod touch. As always Apple made it sure that these new versions will have a lot to offer every music lover in the world. Using the latest trends in technology, the new IPod models are equipped with new heights of exciting features that we will surely love.

iPod shuffle

The new iPod shuffle has got new features and one of which is the VoiceOver. By just a press of a button, VoiceOver will tell you the title and the artist of the song. The iPod shuffle is just 1.8in (height) x 0.7in (width) in size, this makes iPod shuffle the world’s smallest music player. It comes in five beautiful colors. Available in 2GB or 4GB flash drive which can store up to 500 or 1,000 songs formatted in 128-Kbps AAC (this is just the file format used for such measurement). Up to 10 hours of playback time if fully charged.

iPod nano

So you want your iPod nano to have a video camera, huh? You just got it! This new version of iPod nano has already been built to have a capability for shooting videos. Its video capability has a H.264 VGA video type, 640 x 480 pixels in size with at most 30 frames per second. Like the other previous iPod nano versions this little monster has a built-in FM radio but now with new features such as the Live Pause and iTunes Tagging. It has a 2.2-inch TFT display, with physical dimensions: 3.6-inch height, 1.5-inch width and 0.24-inch depth. The battery life of iPod nano depends on how you use it. If you will only use it for playing music then the battery can last up to 24 hours. While for watching videos, the battery can stand up to 5 hours straight.

iPod classic

Capacity. That is how Apple describes their latest release of iPod classic in one word. No doubt that this has a real big edge in terms of capacity. For the iPod classic has 160GB of memory capable of storing 36 hours of music playback or hugely 40,000 songs—equivalent to 200 hours of video! And all of that is housed in a 4.1in (height) x 2.4in (width) x 0.41in (depth) gadget that only weighs 4.9 oz. or 140 grams. This is really the monster in terms of capacity.

The latest version of iPod touch is not just your partner in music but it is also your buddy in other entertainment like playing games and web surfing. It got Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), maps location-based service and Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR. The screen display measures 3.5 inches (diagonal). The other dimensions of this gizmo are 4.3-inch height, 2.4-inch width, 0.33-inch depth and 4.05 oz. (or 115 grams) of weight.
