47 Jaw-Dropping Julian Beever’s 3D Pavement Drawings!

Julian Beever is a British chalk artist who has been crafting visual illusions chalk drawings on pavement surfaces for more than 20 years now. He practices a projection method known as anamorphosis to make the illusion of three dimensions when watched from the precise and exact angle. It is usually feasible to place somebody within the drawing as if they were interacting with the scene. Beever first schemes his artwork on a sheet of paper. Once completed, a camera is positioned at a distance from the drawing on the pavement which he returns to in order to see the drawing through the camera lens a number of times, since the camera's wide angled lens can generate an optical illusion which distorts the actual size of objects, which helps in keeping perspective. Beever works globally as a freelance artist and makes paintings for corporations. In addition to his pavement art, Beever also draws murals with acrylic paints, mockups and oil paintings of existing artworks created by prominent and famous artists.
